Project Name: Historic Building Survey (CR 245)

Project Location: Williamson County, Texas

Project Type: Historic building survey of non-archeological standing structures

Owner: Williamson County

At the request of Williamson County, Texas, Hicks & Company prepared a historic building survey for the proposed widening of County Road 245 west of Georgetown, Texas. The report included a review of properties determined eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), a historic context of the general project area; and results of the historic building survey. One potentially eligible property was found, a ca. 1900s residence associated with African American Rocky Hollow Community. Based on the proposed improvements, the report concluded that there was no potential to affect NRHP-eligible resources. The report was submitted in May 2021.
