This mitigation plan involved the creation of wetland mitigation sites along Plum Creek in Caldwell County and the establishment and monitoring of riparian vegetation at these sites. Recommendations of species to be planted and planting densities for each species were approved by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and included in project construction. Subsequent monitoring and reporting of vegetation restoration success ended in 2015.
