Geologic Assessment for Water Pollution Abatement Plans (WPAPs) and Organized Sewage Collection System (SCS) plans, discovery of potential recharge features during construction, and karst feature closure/protection plans
Hicks & Company prepared a geological assessment for a 63.1-acre residential and commercial development project in San Marcos, Texas. The project area is located over the regulated Edwards Aquifer and included plans for a 1,700-foot force main sewer line. The geologic assessment was prepared for inclusion in the project’s Water Pollution Abatement Plans (WPAPs) and Organized Sewage Collection System (SCS) plans. Hicks & Company also prepared investigated several karst features identified during construction and required coordination with the TCEQ and the City of San Marcos, including one cave that required design of a buffer zone setback and another that required a closure plan. 2012 – 2014
